Joint Vibration Analysis

Joint vibration analysis is a painless, digital screening tool to measure the health of the temporomandibular joints in just three minutes. The analysis is based on simple principles of motion and friction: When smooth surfaces rub together, little friction is created, causing little vibration. If these surfaces become rough, then friction and vibration are created when these surfaces touch.

T-Scan

T Scan technology eliminates the guesswork in occlusal (bite) analysis. In the past, articulating paper marks, waxes and pressure indicating pastes were the only tools available to analyse your bite; however, these methods did not detect simultaneous contacts and the force applied. T-Scan technology aids in TMD appliance balancing, occlusal equilibration, orthodontic and dental case finishing.

EMG

Electromyography is a painless, highly accurate and objective digital tool that Dr. Zusko uses to measure muscular activity in the chewing muscles. T-Scan can sync with EMG technology enabling us to measure changes in muscular output relative to occlusal (bite) forces and initial contacts.

Cerec with Milling Unit

Our practice utilizes modern CEREC® 3D technology. CEREC® restores cracked, chipped, decayed and heavily reconstructed teeth. With CEREC® technology, Dr. Zusko and our team of oral health care professionals can design, fabricate and place full crowns, inlays, onlays and veneers in just one visit! The CEREC® 3D Omnicam scans the prepared tooth in just a few minutes, which eliminates the need for unpleasant silicone impressions many of us have grown to dislike. Your restoration is then designed digitally right in front of you. Once the design is complete, your restoration is milled by the CEREC® milling unit, which takes approximately 15 minutes and can be viewed by you. Once milling is complete, your restoration is carefully fitted. The final stage is referred to as stain and glaze. Custom staining is applied to your restoration to ensure it perfectly matches your surrounding teeth followed by a glaze process to produce a shiny finish before it is ready to be placed. The complete procedure is approximately 2 hours.

Laser

Laser therapy can help TMD patients by eliminating inflammation in muscles and surrounding tissues, and start the healing process.
